| Preeclampsia Evening Awards Grants And Increases Awareness |

The Preeclampsia Foundation will be hosting Saving Grace: A Night of Hope, its 4th annual dinner and awareness program in Washington D.C., September 20, 2008. The theme "Advancing Preeclampsia Awareness to Save Lives,” will be presented at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, highlighting the new research that directly connects preeclampsia awareness with health outcomes of mothers and their babies. The featured speaker is Elizabeth Cohen, CNN Medical Correspondent and Host of "The Empowered Patient, followed by testimony from the National Patient Advocate and a survivor, Lauren Larsen. Aside from four grants of $100,000 being awarded for research, awards will be given to Dr. James M. Roberts, Magee Womens Research Institute, recipient of the Hope Award for Lifetime Achievement; and Caryn Rogers, Hope Award for Volunteer of the Year.
